System Description:-

• Have a motion detector probe (MDP) with pre-amplifier (PA) & an evaluation unit (EU)
• Designed for temperatures up to 120º C standard (200º C special)
• Has a large sensing range of 100mm
• Operates on the reluctance principle
• It has SS casing with an aluminum mounting flange
• A tri-clamp arrangement for easy adjustment of target distance
• An electronic insert is housed in the cast aluminum probe head provided with a suitable cable gland
• An electromagnetic shield covers the rear of the probe to minimize interference from stray electromagnetic fields
• When MDP is suitably installed to sense the moving target, the PA outputs pulses whose frequency is proportional to the speed of moving target
• These pulses are transmitted to the EU
• A microprocessor in the EU processes the signal intelligently and operates the relays accordingly
• When speed is less than the programmed set point, under speed relay changes state after considering the programmed value of hysteresis
• If a missing object is detected, missing object relay operates & if speed is more than the programmed set point, time, the over speed relay operates
• Desired value of start-up delay can be programmed upto 99 seconds
• The output contacts of the relays can be used for control or alarm annunciation
• While in operation, the display indicates the actual speed in pulses per minute
